House of Commons amendments attack a woman’s right to choose

A number of amendments to restrict abortion rights have been proposed to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill. See below for more details. (Thanks to the Left Women’s Network, which is part of the Labour Representation Committee.)
Amendments for the Committee of the Whole House (Free Vote).
There are a number of amendments tabled to restrict the time limit (see below).
The deadline for amendments is tomorrow.
The debate will be 19th / 20th May 2008.

To move the following Clause:-
‘In section 1(1)(a) of the Abortion Act 1967 (c.87) (medical termination of Pregnancy), for “twenty-fourth week” substitute “twelfth week’.
New Clause 2
